An exhibition of the Bulgarian artist Stoyan Bozhkilov will be open on 25 March (Tuesday) in the Naïve Art Museum in Moscow. It will be entitled "Naïve Stories".

The Naïve Art Museum, "73rd Street" Gallery for Modern Arts and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute kindly invite you to visit the exhibition of the Bulgarian artist in Moscow.

The first museum for naïve art in Moscow was open in 1998. The creativity of Stoyan Bozhkilov will be presented there from 25 March to 20 April.

Stoyan Bozhkilov was born in 1974 in the town of Sandanski, Bulgaria. Part of his works are included in the collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria and others - in private collections throughout Europe. He takes active part in international and regional projects (he was many times presented in Germany, France and Poland). The artist frequently organizes open classes.

The relations between man and woman are a favorite subject of the artist. Dinner for two, a dance, a kiss, all these frequently repeating situations prove the importance of this topic for the artist. The scene with the dancing couples in the restaurant is like a feast of music, art and love. It is as if there is a play everywhere, accompanied by sweet melancholy, you can feel the music, but accompanied with a slight irony - all this is the intrigue in Stoyan Bozhkilov's works.

The exhibition is organized with the assistance of the Cultural Department of Moscow Municipality and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute.
