On 11th of December 2014 at the Library of M.Voloshin was held the summarizing the on-line competition "Music Translation".
In assessing the Bulgarian translation of prose and poetry participated the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, noting with a Diploma Antonina Tveritskaya. The winner received as a gift a picture of the Bulgarian landscape a work by Tatiana Laskova, whose personal exhibition is being held in the Library of Foreign Literature.
Pleased to note that for the translations of Bulgarian literature Antonina has received awards before, participating in the Contest of literary translation of the Department of Slavic languages in MSU. Awards ceremony was held at the Embassy of Bulgaria.
This time, Antonina turned to prose of Jordan Radichkov - a writer, unusually complex for translation. However, about this complexity knows only the specialists, and the reader, thanks to Antonina, happy immersed in the world of original Radichkov's heroes.
Another contestant of the "Music Translation" - Maria Gromova, 5th year student at Moscow State University, was awarded the Gratitude of BCI.
We sincerely wish the girls progress in improving their translation skills.
